Born and raised in South Florida golf has always been a passion for Travis. A nationally ranked junior and collegiate player Travis took a hiatus from golf to join the military.

After four years in the military Travis accepted an Assistant Professional position at PGA National Golf Club home of the 1983 Ryder Cup, 1987 PGA Championship, and 1982 – 2000 PGA Seniors Championship.

In 1997 Travis moved away from his home state of Florida to take an Assistant Professional position at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in San Diego where he also met his wife Michele and later had their two children Dillon(4) and Chloe(2).

During his eight year tenure at Lomas Santa Fe Travis became a PGA member in 2005 and not long after became the Head Golf Professional at The Golf Club Tierra Oaks.

Travis strives to provide the membership at Tierra Oaks with the best possible instruction, knowledgeable staff, and a superb private club experience.
